Terms & Conditions

THE CONTEST IS INTENDED TO BE CONDUCTED IN THE CANADIAN PROVINCE OF MANITOBA AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW.

Further, the Contest is governed by the terms and conditions set out herein (the “Terms and Conditions”)

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Eligibility:

•  Manitoba Residents (19+): The Contest is open only to Manitoba residents 19 years of age or older at the time of entry and who otherwise meet the requirements set out in the Terms and Conditions.
• Travel Eligibility: Entrants must possess valid travel documents (passport, visas, etc.) and are legally allowed to travel outside of Canada.
• Acceptance of Contest Terms and Conditions: Entry in the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Contest’s Terms and Conditions.
• The Contest is not open to employees and/or any person who is, or purports to be, a family member (defined as spouse, dependent for federal income tax purposes, or step- or biological mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, or son) of, or who resides in the same household as any employee of The Joint or the Company or their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, agents, and advertising or promotional agencies.
• All entries are subject to verification at any time. The Company reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Company – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification) to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof to the satisfaction of the Company in a timely manner may result in disqualification. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid Entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).

The Contest prize is being provided by The Joint Head Shop Inc. (the “Company”). The Contest entry period (the “Entry Period”) begins on January 1, 2026, at 12:01:01 am Eastern Standard Time (“EST”), and ends on February 28th, 2026, at 11:00:00 pm EST. The winner will be announced by March 13th, 2026.

HOW TO REGISTER AND ENTER

(a) The Entry Period begins on January 1st, 2026, at 12:01:01 am EST and ends on February 28th, 2026, at 11:00:00 pm EST.
(b) To enter the Contest, applicant must, at any time during the Entry Period, scan the QR code displayed in any retail location of the Company during operating hours and complete the entry form.

(c) Use of any automated, script, macro, robotic or other program(s) to enter or otherwise participate is prohibited and is grounds for disqualification.

No purchase of cannabis or cannabis accessories or any purchase is required to enter to win.

PRIZE DESCRIPTION

There are two (2) Grand Prizes to be won by two (2) winners. Each prize includes:

• One (1) $6,000 travel voucher with GM tours that can be applied towards any available travel packages offered by GM tours at the time of booking.
• The voucher may be used by the winner and one other guest.
• The voucher must be redeemed by December 31, 2026.

Prize visuals are for illustrative purposes only. Actual prize may vary.

The prize does not include any cannabis, cannabis accessories or cannabis services.

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS

• Prizes may only be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted by winner.
• The Company reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
• It is the sole responsibility of the prize winner to obtain all necessary travel documentation including passports and visas, as applicable and to comply with any customs and immigration requirements.
• No reimbursement or compensation will be provided if the winner is unable to attend for any reason, or if the voucher is not redeemed by December 31, 2026.
• All bookings/confirmations must be made by the winner through GM Tours’ designated representatives, or as the Company may otherwise direct.
• Usage of the prize vouchers are further subject to GM Tours policies and restrictions.

The winner and guest are responsible for all expenses other than those included in the travel voucher, including, but not limited to, other transportation, attractions, merchandise, souvenirs, travel insurance, travel visas and all other personal expenses of any kind.

RELEASE, WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

Prior to being declared the winner, the selected entrant will be required to:

• Show valid government-issued ID and sign a declaration of eligibility and liability release form,
• Release the Company and their directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability in connection with the Contest and/or Prize, including without limitation personal injury, delays or any damages whatsoever.
• Consent to the use of their name, likeness, and image for promotional purposes without further notice or compensation.

The winner and guest acknowledge and agree that participation involves risks related to travel, including (but not limited to): illness, injury, delays, and disruptions. The winner and guest assume all risk and agree that the Company is not responsible for any costs or damages exceeding the prize value, including medical, travel delays, lost baggage, or event cancellations. 

INDEMNITY:

By entering the Contest, entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, their directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of the Prize or any violation of these Terms and Conditions.

WINNER SELECTION

A random draw will take place on March 5th, 2026 in Ontario from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries.

Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNER

A representative of the Company will notify the selected entrant by phone or email. If no response is received within 24 hours, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate entrant. The winner will be required to complete a skill-testing question and provide additional travel documentation.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Void where prohibited by law. Contest subject to all applicable provincial, federal, and municipal laws. Entrants agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Company, which shall be final. By entering, participants grant the Company permission to use submitted personal data for marketing, internal analysis, or promotional content. Entrants may not win more than once in a 12-month period.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Company and associated agencies are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries. The Company reserves the right to cancel or amend the Contest if fraud or technical issues affect its integrity.

PRIVACY / USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

(a) By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to the use of their personal information for administration and marketing as outlined in the Company’s Privacy Policy.
(b) Where entrants opt-in, they consent to marketing and promotional communication by the Company or its affiliates.
(c) All personal information will be collected and stored securely in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All trademarks, logos, designs, and promotional materials are the property of the Company or its affiliates and may not be copied or reused without written consent.
