Important Changes to Our Business Operations
A lot has changed in the last few weeks, even days. During these challenging times we know how important it is to take care of one another. As local and federal government regulations change we want to keep you updated on how we are working to best serve you and our teams.
Cannabis has been designated a critical business for adult-use consumers in Manitoba per the Government official website and all three of our locations remain open to the public. The health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. As we continue to follow the direction of local and federal officials we want to ensure you that we are taking every safety precaution we can to protect our customers and employees, while still being able to provide our services to the community. As we continue to closely monitor developments of COVID-19 in Manitoba, we wanted to share additional preventive measures we have implemented to promote health and safety in our stores.
Are Stores Open?
Stores are open for in-store purchasing and we are still fulfilling delivery orders. On March 30th, a Public Health Order was announced, directing the closure of all non-critical businesses in Manitoba. Cannabis retailers and the supply chain that supports this industry were identified as critical (essential) businesses. This Public Health Order will be in effect from April 1-14th.
For the safety of our employees and community, we have shortened our store hours and are encouraging customers to order online for delivery. We are offering free shipping for orders of $25 or more on all same-day deliveries in Winnipeg.

What other precautions are stores taking?
Stores are actively following guidelines from the Manitoba Government, World Health Organization and Health Canada. Employees are cleaning touched surfaces after each transaction and completing full store cleans twice a day. Additionally, we have professional cleaning services completing deep cleans. We are no longer allowing the use of smell jars and are only allowing customers to handle products after purchase. We have also added additional hand sanitizer where possible. All staff have been advised to remain at home if feeling unwell, and we are asking the same of our valued customers.
What about social distancing?
We are limiting the total number of people allowed in our stores to one customer per Mood Maker at a time with a maximum of 10 people total in the store at any point. As directed, we are and will continue to require all customers and employees to stand six feet apart during interactions and transactions. Our delivery partners are practicing similar precautions with both cleanliness and social distancing.
How should I order?
Customers are still welcomed in our stores and we are encouraging customers to order online for delivery. We are offering free same-day delivery for all orders of $25 or more within Winnipeg.
If shopping in-store, please note the following precautions. Customers will enter our lobby and provide ID at reception. If there are less than 5 customers on our sales floor, they will be able to enter immediately. If the sales floor is at capacity, customers will be asked to wait in the lobby and take note of the 2 meter distancing markets on our floor. We will only allow 5 customers to wait in the lobby at a time, otherwise we kindly ask that customers wait outside in order to further practice social distancing.
